All aboard — Broughty Ferry woman wants help to send “amazing” mum on Ant and Dec’s plane to Florida

Ashley hopes to send her "amazing" mum to Florida.

A Broughty Ferry woman has launched an emotional campaign to send her “amazing” mum to Florida.

Ashley Holmes, 24, was last year diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Though the news rocked the Holmes family, Ashley’s mother, Lorraine, campaigned passionately for MS care, raising £4000 for research into the condition.

To make matters worse, Ashley’s sister was recently diagnosed as having “abnormal pre-cancer cells”.

Though she had the cells removed, Ashley’s sister has been left in “constant pain for around three months”.

Inspired by her mum’s unwavering support for both herself and her sister, Ashley has launched an online campaign to gain Lorraine a place on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’s plane to Florida.

Ashley explained: “I am desperately trying to get my Mother a place on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’s plane to Florida.

“My Mum is an amazing woman — I cannot describe to you in words how amazing she is.

“My mum stepped up her game and was there for us both unconditionally. She is literally super women and I don’t know how she does it.

“As part of my campaign to get my amazing mother a place on the plane to Florida I was hoping to get photos of as many different people and place
