A Dundee drone professional has captured dramatic new shots of the city’s reworked waterfront.

Dale Summerton, of local firm Rising View, says he was granted permission by the city council to fly a drone in the city centre to record progress on the area’s £1 billion transformation.

Taken on a beautiful sunny day, his photos and video show the new V&A’s impressive shape dominating its riverside location.

The shots also show progress on the new railway station and give a new perspective on Slessor Gardens weeks before it hosts the first of what it hoped will be a long and successful series of concerts and public events.
