Police have issued CCTV stills of a man they wish to trace
Police investigating the sexual assault of a 22-year-old woman in Dundee’s West End have released CCTV images of a man they want to trace.
The attack happened on Bellefield Avenue, which runs north from the bottom of Roseangle, sometime between 2.30am and 3.10am on Sunday January 28.
The victim was in Corfu Kebabs in Seagate at around 1.50am at the time of an ‘altercation’ between two women.
The new images show a man at the takeaway at this time. He came to the assistance of the two woman following the altercation.
The male in the images is described as white, aged in his 20’s, 5’10 to 6’2, with short dark hair, unshaven and Scottish accent wearing a dark coloured long sleeved top, blue jeans and dark footwear.
A spokesperson for the Tayside division of Police Scotland said: “If you know who this male is, know his movements either before or after his attendance at the Kebab shop or were present there and remember the altercation please contact Police on 101 quoting reference CR/2155/18.
