Roads and bridges across Courier Country were forced to close as Storm Hector battered Scotland.
The Tay Road Bridge was shut off to traffic at 10.50am due to “high winds”, with the pedestrian walkway also closed.
It was reopened to cars only at around 12.50pm.
The crossing had been closed to double decker buses earlier, with a 30mph speed limit put in place for cars.

The Friarton Bridge on the M90 was closed to “high-sided vehicles” due to the conditions.
Council crews in Perth and Kinross were also sent to clear a fallen tree which closed the B954 between Belmont and Newtyle. The road was reopened at about 3.45pm.
The B954 between Belmont and Newtyle is currently closed due to a fallen tree blocking the road. Staff are en route to remove the obstruction and get the road reopened. Apologies for any inconvenience during the closure.

The Invergowrie to Errol Road was also blocked, close to Castle Huntly, after three oak trees were blown over.
Meanwhile in Fife, the weather has caused a number of road closures.
The A912 between Falkland and Strathmiglo and B9157 near Orrock Quarry, heading in towards Kirkcaldy, was closed due to fallen trees.
A road between Letham and Bow of Fife was also blocked, with bus services affected.
Limekilns Primary School has also been forced to shut its doors due to building problems.
The B936 was closed between Auchtermuchty and the Grange, also due to fallen tree, and another blocked St Mary’s Road at Cupar.
Meanwhile a fallen tree caused damage to walls and the side of the Dysart Carmelite Monastery in Kirkcaldy and there were also power outages in the Dunfermline and Cairneyhill areas during the morning.

The Met Office has issued a yellow ‘Be Aware’ warning for strong winds, with gusts of up to 70mph expected in more exposed areas of the country. The weather warning is due to expire around 3pm today.

Both the Queensferry Crossing and the Forth Road Bridge were closed to double decker buses.
