Scotland’s first-ever urban aqua park opened in Dundee today to a flock of wetsuit-clad thrill seekers.
The City Quay park features eighteen floating obstacles ranging from water chutes and bridges to “ninja runs”.
With the good weather still going strong, its first customers piled in from mid-morning with spectators around Victoria Dock stopping to watch the action — which is similar to that seen on TV show Total Wipeout.

The large inflatable sits in the water next to the wakeboarding facility which opened last year.
Callum Mark, director of Foxlake Adventures, said: “We only recently came up with idea so to see it up and running already is great.
“It’s a tricky course but one that is pretty inclusive with different obstacles of varying difficulty.”
