This is the moment a Sky Sports presenter told a Dundee woman she won a car following her fundraising efforts in the 2018 Kiltwalk.
Jim White, who took part in this year’s event, called up local Mhairi Robertson to tell her she’d won a brand new Vauxhall Corsa after completing the whole route with her team in aid of the Brain Tumour Charity.
The Dundonian initially mistook him for a cold caller ringing about a PPI claim.
The Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 SRi, which anyone who was walking and fundraising could have won, was donated by sponsors Arnold Clark.
Almost 3,000 trekkers at this year’s Kiltwalk raised more than £500,000 for local charities on Sunday, August 19.
The 25-mile route started in St Andrews, passed into Dundee and headed east to finish in Monifieth.
White was joined by philanthropist Sir Tom Hunter in waving off the walkers.
