A 30-year-old man is due in court charged with firearms offences following a Dundee bomb scare.
Police, fire crews, paramedics and army bomb disposal experts were called to a flat in Carlochie Place at around noon on Thursday and discovered a device.
Homes were evacuated and roads surrounding the property were closed as the emergency services dealt with the incident.
On Friday morning police said a 30-year-old man, arrested on Thursday, is due at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday, September 10 in relation to firearms offences.
The police investigation into the device found at the property is continuing, and the force will maintain a presence on Carlochie Place.

Tayside Police Division said: “Police Scotland can confirm that the 30-year-old man arrested in Carlochie Place, Dundee, yesterday afternoon (September 6) has been charged in relation to firearms offences, and is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday, September 10.
“Inquiries are continuing regarding a device which was recovered during a search of the property in Carlochie Place.
“We would like to reiterate that there is no threat to the wider public, and that there will continue to be a police presence in Carlochie Place while relevant inquiries are conducted.”
