Pair appear in court following discovery of £350,000 worth of heroin in Dundee

Dundee Sheriff Court.

Two men have appeared in court after £350,000 worth of heroin was found in a flat in Dundee.

30-year-old George Black, of Spey Drive, and 35-year-old Zayne Astbury, of Atholl Street appeared on petition charged with being concerned in the supply of diamorphine.

The pair made no plea in a private hearing at Dundee Sheriff Court today.

The haul was discovered in a police raid on 267 Atholl Street on Friday, September 7.

Astbury, represented by defence solicitor Anika Jethwa, was granted bail while Black, represented by Paul Parker Smith, was denied bail.
