The Perth Road has been closed after a gale tore a chimney from a roof.
Police and fire are currently in attendance on Perth Road, close to the Nisa supermarket, after a chimney fell from the roof of a building.

Police were spotted turning traffic back from the Sinderins traffic lights shortly before 1.00pm on Wednesday.
Traffic management is in place.
A spokesperson for Scottish Fire and Rescue said: “We were called to attend a partial chimney collapse at a building on Perth Road.
“The call came in at 12.50pm. There is reports of debris on the pavement. It is thought trees and high wind caused the damage.
“The road is currently closed to traffic. A high appliance is in place as officers attempt to make the area safe. There have been no injuries reported.”

Nearby businesses were affected, but fortunately not hit, by the debris.
Jack Lefeuvre was working in his shop Le Freak Records when he heard the chimney collapse
He said: “I heard a big bang and saw everyone coming outside. It could have killed someone.
“I had initially thought I turned the bass up too loud on the shop speakers.”
