Police have identified a man who died in Dundee city centre on Hogmanay.
Brian Fox, 62, of Dundee, was rushed to Ninewells Hospital following the disturbance near the main taxi rank in the Nethergate but could not be saved.
They are due to appear in Dundee Sheriff Court on Friday.
A Tayside Police Division statement read: “We can confirm that the 62-year-old man who died following an incident at Nethergate, Dundee, on January 1, was Brian Fox, of Dundee.
“Two men aged 19 and 24 have been charged in relation to alleged murder.
“A 21 year old woman has also been charged in relation to a number of assaults linked to the same incident.
“They are all expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today, Friday, January 4.”
Detective Inspector Ross Fitzgerald of the Major Investigation Team said: “Mr Fox’s next of kin have been updated and our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time.
“We are grateful to the community for its support while inquiries were carried out.”
