Firefighters were called to a Dundee city centre street following a car blaze on Tuesday morning.
A team from Blackness Road was sent to Bell Street after being alerted at 10.20am.
The red Peugeot 307 was left ruined by the blaze.
Police were directing traffic around the incident.
A fire and rescue spokeswoman said: “It was one car on fire. We used one CABA (compressed air breathing apparatus) and one hose reel jet.
“The stop message came back at 10.27am.”
Nobody is said to have been injured during the fire.
