Residents across Dundee and Angus have been warned to prepare for flooding.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (Sepa) has issued an alert for the whole of the city, Angus and all of wider Tayside.
A period of “heavy and intense” rainfall has been forecast from Monday into Tuesday.

Sepa’s Dundee and Angus flood alert reads: “A flood alert has been issued for Dundee and Angus. Heavy and intense showers are expected during Monday and Tuesday. This could cause disruption due to flooding from local surface water run-off.
“Urban and developed rural areas, roads and impermeable surfaces are at risk of flooding. Due to the dispersed nature of the showers, not all areas will be impacted.
“Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property.

The Tayside alert, which is separate from the Dundee and Angus one, states the risk of flooding is highest “in the eastern part of the area”.
