The second day of the university’s biannual graduations saw students again flock to City Square in their finest dresses and gowns.

They packed out the Caird Hall before waiting in turn to be acknowledged for their dedication and hard work throughout their respective courses.
The ceremony included graduates from the school of social sciences, and the school of dentistry.

In the morning, Dundee fashion designer Hayley Scanlan collected her honorary degree while Dr Francis Smith was honoured in the afternoon ceremony.
