Dundee Summer Streets Festival drew in thousands to the centre of the city with two days of music and games, as well as the star attraction — a 55 metre long inflatable dome.
The luminarium attracted huge queues on both Saturday and Sunday with some visitors reporting waits of more than three hours to get in.
Pre-booked tickets had sold out on Friday morning and those without time slots had been advised to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
The city centre-wide event also featured live street entertainment, music, a ‘maze’, treasure hunts and interactive games.
It extended along Reform Street, with live music and games at various points there and at the McManus and in the Overgate.
Food stalls were also dotted around the centre.
Lonely Bones, Esperi, Haystack Monolith and James Liandu all performed on Saturday in the Overgate, while Stefan Clarkin, Catrin Evans, Alan Muhyaldeen and Robbie Ward appeared on Sunday.
