Two men and a woman have been arrested after a disturbance in Fife.
Witnesses reported a big emergency presence outside a house in Kirkland Gardens, Ballingry for much of Wednesday after police swooped at around 4am.
Firefighters, who were initially called out to a report of a fire shortly after 4.30am, stayed on the scene along with paramedics and a number of police vehicles.
The area around the house, near the corner of Kirktoun Street, was cordoned off for several hours and neighbours said they had been told to stay inside.
A police statement said: “Police Scotland can confirm that two men, aged 31 and 37, and a woman aged 39 have been arrested in connection with a disturbance which happened in Kirkland Gardens in Ballingry today.”
