Fife Council’s human resources service has been honoured at the annual Institute of Directors Scotland Awards.
The team scooped The NHS Health Scotland and Carers’ Scotland Award for a Carer Friendly, Healthy Workplace, and was also shortlisted for The Public Sector Award.
Sharon McKenzie, head of human resources, said: “This award recognises Fife Council’s commitment to health, wellbeing and particularly the support we give to those with caring responsibilities.
“It also helps highlight the positive impacts of our work and I am delighted that the efforts of the Human Resources team and our managers, and staff across the council, have been recognised in this way.”
