A woman has been taken to hospital after a collision involving a police car.
The marked vehicle collided with a dark-coloured Seat vehicle at the junction of Dunfermline’s Aberdour Road and the B981 at around 3pm.
It’s understood the police vehicle was not on an emergency call out at the time.

A spokesman for the force said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a single-crewed marked police vehicle was in collision with another vehicle this afternoon on the B981 Inverkeithing to Dunfermline Road, near Fordell.
“An ambulance attended to treat the passenger in the car, who was taken to the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, to be checked over. There are no reports of injuries to the drivers,
“The road is currently closed for accident investigation.”
