A former Fife RAF man is cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats in aid of the RAF Benevolent Fund.
Bob Lander, 62, who recently retired after 44 years in the service, aims to raise £2,000 through his 1,000-mile ride which starts on May 12 and ends on May 24.
Flt Lt Greg Lings has volunteered to ride with Bob, and the two used to fly Search and Rescue Sea Kings together at Leconfield some 20 years ago.
