A St Andrews gallery has welcomed a new artist in residence.
John Kingsley has taken up the post with Fraser East.
Born in Glasgow, John studied at Glasgow School of Art and since then has exhibited with the Royal Scottish Academy and Royal Scottish Society for Painters in Watercolour, among others.
He has been a finalist at the Hunting Art prizes in London on five occasions and has collected many awards along the way.
He has also exhibited widely in the UK and has had many successful shows at Fraser East over the years.
John was recently elected member of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour.
His work features in the collections of several prominent people, including the Duke of Edinburgh and designer Tommy Hilfiger.
