Police had to close a busy Fife road this afternoon after a vehicle crashed into a bus stop destroying the shelter.
The incident happened shortly before 4.30pm this afternoon n Carnegie Avenue, in the Pitreavie area of Dunfermline.
The road was closed for a time by police and local diversions put in place.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland, said: “Officers received a report that a car had crash into a bus stop on Carnegie Avenue in Dunfermline at 4.30pm on Sunday, November 8.
“No one was injured as a result.”
The road has now been re-opened.
