The Kaiser Cheifs have filmed their latest video in Fife.
‘Hole in My Soul’ was filmed around Knockhill racing circuit.
Among those featured in the video is top driver Rory Butcher, 29, who will be competing at the infamous Le Mans 24 hour race next year.
Despite having raced at courses around the world, the experience of starring in a music video was new to him.
Speaking about the event Rory said: “The driving part was quite normal but the most interesting thing was that we had to some acting.
“They only used one or two bits but they were asking for us to get into character where Ricky was distracting us and that was the funniest part.
“They were really keen at the driving, we gave them some instructions the night before the shoot and they were all pretty good.”
Rory, who is leading the European Le Mans series with his team JMW Motorsport, said that he became involved with the filming through his sponsors, Honda.
He said: “The link that brought about the video being filmed at Knockhill is Ricky Wilson and Gordon Shedden are brand ambassadors for Honda and the track is also sponsored by Honda.
Knockhill is supplied with cars from Honda that are used as track day vehicles and safety cars.”
Last year Shedden, who is Rory’s brother-in-law, helped Wilson gain his racing licence at Knockhill, Scotland’s national motor-sport centre.
Shedden who is a three times British Touring Car Champion also stars in the video.
Rory admitted that he enjoys the band’s music and that working on the project was good fun.
He said: “I really like their music. I’ve seen Ricky on The Voice and he’s just as big a personality in real life. He was really funny, playing up to the camera and acting a bit of the lad.
“They are really just a great group of guys and like to have a bit of a laugh.”
The new Honda Civic Type R’s used in the video were wrapped in uniquely coloured liveries specially for the Kaiser Chiefs.
Rory said he was pleased with the result: “I thought it looked fantastic. I really liked the song as well. It helps give the guys a little more exposure.
“It’s just been really good for the circuit. It acts as a showcase for Knockhill and what we can do as a venue whether it’s racing, drifting or filming music videos.”
The entertaining video sees Wilson and his band-mates attempt to play their instruments whilst being thrown around in the back of the car as Rory races around the track.
