Police are investigating the theft of an industrial generator from a construction site in Kirkcaldy.
An Apex Power Solutions generator was stolen from a site on Earn Road.
It was taken some time between 4pm on Friday last week and 7pm on Monday.
Local community officer PC Kinga Miskiewicz said: “We expect that the culprits would have needed a van or some type of vehicle to remove the generator.
“We’d urge anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area between these times to get in touch.
“Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the generator, which has the unit number ‘7554’ on it, is also asked to come forward.
“If you purchase a stolen item, knowingly or otherwise, then this can be reclaimed by the rightful owner meaning a financial loss to yourself.”
