More details have emerged of the proposed £50 million new secondary school for St Andrews as the public has another chance to have its say.
Fife Council intends to erect a three-storey building with a university campus style, boasting two flood-lit 3G all-weather sports pitches on the southern boundary and accommodating up to 1,450 pupils.
The new Madras College, on a rectangular footprint, would be accessed from the new link road planned from the A91 though the North Haugh to the St Andrews West expansion.
Further access is proposed for pedestrians and cyclists off Buchanan Gardens, between the David Russell Halls and the playing fields.
Parking is proposed for 165 cars and 19 buses and a small garden created near the part of the school used for pupils with additional support needs.
