The fire service was called to St Andrews town centre when a lorry containing shredded paper caught light.
Two appliances were sent to South Street shortly after 11am on Wednesday after fire broke out in a vehicle carrying equipment for shredding paper, and destroyed documents.

Fire fighters took around 45 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
Nobody was injured.
