Tennis coach Judy Murray has been in St Andrews to help nurture potential future stars of the sport.
Judy and Kris Soutar, who is a former member of her national coaching team, met University of St Andrews Tennis Club members, local children and students in St Andrews earlier this week.
The coaches were at the University of St Andrews as part of their ‘Tennis on the Road’ programme to help train up a tennis workforce, made up of students, local teenagers tennis leaders and teachers.
Supported by Tennis Scotland and the LTA, the course involved plenty of games, drills and activities focusing on developing coordination, agility and teamwork, and gave the volunteer coaches the tools they need to be able to deliver tennis to schools and children from the local community.
