One woman has been taken to hospital following a road accident in Inverkeithing.
The collision, involving two cars, happened in the town’s Hope Street near to the entrance to Ferrytoll Park and Ride.
Two Scottish Fire and Rescue crews from Dunfermline rushed to the scene of the accident, which happened at 11.25am on Saturday.
Firefighters worked to remove the woman from one of the vehicles.
She was taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment.
Traffic built up in the area, which is close to the M90, while emergency services tackled the incident.
