Celebrity pals including Sandi Toksvig and Sarah Brown are resting their feet after conquering Fife Coastal Path.
The Great British Bake Off host and former Prime Minister’s wife were joined by actress Arabella Weir, author Kathy Lette and Sandi’s wife Debbie in walking 117 miles from the Forth Bridge to Newburgh.
They crossed the finish line on Friday evening, having raised almost £30,000 for Sarah’s charity Theirworld.
A jubilant and relieved Sandi tweeted: “Thanks to everyone who supported us – the money raised will go to @theirworld’s work to ensure every child can go to school.”

The friends set out from North Queensferry on Monday with the target of raising £20,000 to help give children the best start in life.
Sarah, who started the charity as PiggyBankKids in Fife in 2002, came up with the idea and enlisted her chums who are involved with the charity as trustee, ambassador and on the advisory board.
When they met a Courier reporter as they stopped off for lunch at the Sands Restaurant in Aberdour 11 miles in, Kathy admitted they may be hospitalised by hilarity while Sandi told how she had trained by “eating cake”.
There were more laughs along the way when Sandi and the hikers met fellow comedian and QI regular Phil Jupitus, who lives in Fife.

The group also stopped off at the Cottage Family Centre, in Kirkcaldy, which Sandi visited earlier this year when she was in the town to deliver her keynote speech at the Adam Smith Foundation Festival of Ideas.
With their hiking boots unlaced, the five enjoyed a high tea and hospitality at Lindores Abbey Disillery, in Newburgh.
Afterwards, Sarah posted on their fundraising page: “Kathy Lette, Sandi and Debbie Toksvig, Arabella Weir and I have just walked the length of the Fife Coastal Path – a fantastic experience despite the very sore feet.
“We met some truly amazing people along the way offering us cups of tea, biscuits and good cheer.
“A huge thank you to the wonderful people in Fife and their generosity and kindness to us.”
