A male has been treated for smoke inhalation following a Glenrothes house fire.
The blaze broke out at a property in the town’s Julian Road shortly after 7.30pm on Tuesday night.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said one male casualty was passed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service to be treated for the effects of smoke inhalation.
The condition of the injured man is not known at this stage.
Two hose reel jets were used to extinguish the blaze.
