A busy Fife road was closed for more than three hours after a council gritter lorry tipped over in Kirkcaldy.
Police were called to the scene on Chapel Level at around 6am, shortly after the incident took place.
The gritter lorry has shed its load of grit onto the roadway and remained on its side.

Police Scotland confirmed they were in attendance and the road remained closed at 8.30am while Fife Council arranged recovery of the stricken vehicle.
It is not known if the driver was injured following the accident.
The road reopened at around 9.45am.
Meanwhile, in Perth and Kinross, a council gritter skidded off the road due to ice.
The vehicle was gritting the B846 near Dull on Saturday afternoon when the incident happened.
No one was injured in the crash and the vehicle was recovered around midnight.
