A male motorcyclist is understood to have been injured after coming off his bike on a Fife road on Tuesday evening.
The incident took place shortly after 8pm on the A912 Strathmiglo to Falkland road, and ambulance paramedics treated the injured man at the scene.
It is believed the man was conscious when the ambulance arrived, and he was taken to Kirkcaldy’s Victoria Hospital for further treatment.
The road was closed for a time as emergency services carried out their work, and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to deal with fuel on the road at around 8.30pm.
The man’s condition is currently unknown.
