A man has been rushed to hospital following a police incident on the M90 near Kelty.
The main artery between Edinburgh and Perth had to be closed for a short while on Sunday while police dealt with the incident.
A spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed they had been alerted at 1.20pm.
The injured man has been taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
The extent of his injuries are not yet known.

Traffic Scotland confirmed the road had been closed between junctions three at Halbeath and junction four at Kelty.
It has since reopened, but traffic is still slow in the area.
