Great-grandmother-of-five Helen Lennox has had to celebrate her 100th birthday without her family.
Staff at Moncrieffe Care Home, Bridge of Earn, threw a party for the centenarian, who received the traditional telegram from the Queen.
But strict lockdown rules meant her relatives were forced to stay away.
Nephew Jim Dunbar said: “We had planned have a get-together on Saturday, but obviously that had to be cancelled.
“It’s so unfortunate with the timing. We’re hoping we can do something when all this is over.”
Staff at the care home shared a photo of Helen receiving her message from the Queen.
Helen was born near Campsie, Dumbartonshire, and moved to Gartferry Farm, near Glasgow, when she married her husband John.
They had three children: Jim, Elizabeth and Agnes. Sadly, Agnes died in 2011 after a lengthy fight against cancer.
The family moved to Mount Stewart Farm, Forgandenny, in the early 60s. Son Jim still runs the farm.
