A Perth man has cycled up and down Kinnoull Hill for 26.2 miles, dressed as wrestler Hulk Hogan.
Michael Souter cycled the equivalent distance of a marathon on Sunday, in just under four hours, to raise money for the MS Society.
He cycled 10 climbs of Kinnoull Hill with a total elevation of 4800ft.
He was supposed to have been running the London Marathon but due to the lockdown and social distancing restrictions currently in place, he was unable to do so.
He said: “The MS Society is very close to my heart as my brother was diagnosed with the condition back in 2018 after having problems in his legs for three years.
“He and I are like best friends and he played a big part in me loving the outdoors, and I’d started hiking many Munros with him.
“He’s a real fighter though and continues to do what he can.”
Michael has set a fundraising target of £5,000 for his cycle, with donations so far having almost taken to his goal.
Donations on his JustGiving page are at around £4,500, with others having donated to the fundraiser in other ways.
Michael said that the effects of MS on his family had led to the generous support of people who donated to his fundraiser.
He said: “Raising all this money became quite east because I think people could see how it’s affected our family, and they know how close we are.
“The generosity and support has been incredible, and it has really blown me away.”
