A firm favourite in the racing calendar, Perth Racecourse’s Totepool Family Race Day returned on Sunday as part of the Mackie’s of Scotland Summer Series.
The annual family day not only hosted a variety of free activities for the kids, but provided a full day of top class horse racing.
To keep the little ones entertained all day, Crieff Hydro’s award winning activity arm, Action Glen, returned for the third consecutive year to deliver a variety of family-friendly, free entertainment from quad pods and Segway’s to bouncy castles, face painting, archery and pony rides.
Mackie’s Ice Cream, the racecourse’s official ice cream supplier and summer sponsor, were also in attendance to showcase their new flavours.
Not only a fantastic day out for the whole family, the Totepool meeting also enjoyed a day of first class horse racing, with seven races attracting champion trainers and jockeys from across the UK and Ireland.
