Emergency services have been called to the A9 following a three-vehicle crash.
Police were called to the scene between the Inveralmond and Broxden roundabouts at around 2.50pm.
Six people are reported to have been injured.
Traffic is now being diverted at the junction with the A85 causing substantial delays and queues for traffic.
One lane has reopened following the incident but there is still heavy traffic.
Northbound vehicles are being redirected up the southbound slipway to try and clear congestion.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was asked to attend shortly before 3pm.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “We are in attendance at a serious three-vehicle RTA on the A9 at Inveralmond. The fire service and ambulance are also in attendance.
“The crash involves a lorry, a car and a trailer.
“Both lanes northbound are closed and diversions will need to be put in place.”
A separate incident on the A9 at Broxden has also caused delays, with one vehicle colliding with the central reservation. It has now been cleared, although there are still some delays.
