From traditional tunes to classical virtuosity and home-grown comedy, the wealth of local talent and national and international names who will take to the stage of Perth Concert Hall in the coming months have been announced.
Perthshire musicians Ross Ainslie and Patsy Reid will reunite with fellow Scottish performers including Fraser Anderson and Lisa Rigby for a rerun of Made in Perthshire, showcasing their musicianship through traditional and contemporary pieces with a local flavour.
Originally commissioned for Perth Concert Hall’s 10th anniversary, Made in Perthshire makes a second and last appearance in Perth before travelling to Glasgow for a performance at Celtic Connections.
International pianist Alasdair Beatson from Perth teams up with the Doric String Quartet for a weekend of music including Fauré, Brahms and Elgar.

Popular music series with a traditional flavour, Celtic Sessions features the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Mànran and Elephant Sessions.
Perth Concert Hall is the only Scottish venue on Marc Almond’s 60th birthday tour and other music acts this season include Mike and the Mechanics, Steve Steinman’s Iconic, Leo Sayer, Barbara Dickson, The Matt Monro Story, The Cavern Beatles and The Magic of Motown.
The world’s finest pianists perform Perth Piano Sundays, in a programme that includes concerts by Lars Vogt, Sophie Pacini and Steven Osborne as well as a jazz-themed performance by The David Patrick Tentet.
Lunchtime Concerts presents a mix of new and established musicians. Scottish Opera returns with a concert performance of Rossini’s La Scala di Seta. Scottish Chamber Orchestra’s Stan and Mabel is a family-friendly introduction to classical music for children aged four to eight.
Brendan Cole brings new dance spectacular All Night Long to Perth Concert Hall and comedian and actor Omid Djalili is Schmuck for a Night.
