Benefactors backing the multi-million pound transformation of historic Perth Theatre are being promised an exclusive behind the scenes look at the restoration.
Theatre lovers who give the gift of a theatre seat this Christmas will receive a present in the form of a tour of the ongoing redevelopment works.
The creative organisation behind Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre already has pledges of £15.1 million towards the £16.6m transformation from project partners including Perth and Kinross Council, Creative Scotland, The Gannochy Trust and the Heritage Lottery Fund, but is looking to bridge the shortfall.
Anyone who contacts Horsecross Arts to dedicate either a studio theatre seat (from £250) or an auditorium seat (from £400) before December 31 will be able to book two spaces on a site tour in the New Year.

From a Perth Theatre supporter’s pin badge for a donation of £20 or more to an acknowledgement on the Perth Theatre Donor Wall for a gift upwards of £1,000, there is an option for all levels of support.
The transformation of the theatre, which has launched the careers of many well-known actors, will restore and redevelop one of Scotland’s oldest and best loved theatres for generations to come.
The B-listed Edwardian auditorium will be brought back to its former glory and a new 200-seat studio theatre will be created.
