More than 1,400 people visited the opening eveningĀ of the Norie-Miller Walk Light Nights in Perth.

Despite poor weather, visitors turned out in their droves for the Burns-themed event on the banks of the River Tay.

The highlight of the evening was a display by fire jugglers, who performed accompanied by bagpipe music.
