A star-studded summer gala at Coupar Angus has been hailed a success.
Little Mix tribute act – Little Fix – were among the headliners at the town’s mini-music festival-style summer gala.
The band shared top billing with local favourites Journey North at the new look event – now known as Coupar Angus Rocks – held in the Common, off Forfar Road.
The gala was given a radical makeover in 2016, with a focus on live music.
There were also plenty of side attractions and displays for all ages, including a pipe band and car show.
Organisers hope that the success of Sunday’s show will inspire other communities to revive their summer galas.
