Traffic tailed back on the main route out of Dundee following a two-car crash south of the city on Thursday.
The incident involving two vehicles took place on the southbound A90 Dundee to Perth road near Longforgan at about 2pm.
One person was treated for minor injuries by paramedics.
A spokesman for the force said: “It was a two vehicle road traffic collision. One lane is blocked. An ambulance was called.”

The incident was cleared just before 5pm.
