Traffic queues back following two-car crash on A90 south of Dundee

Traffic tailed back on the main route out of Dundee following a two-car crash south of the city on Thursday.

The incident involving two vehicles took place on the southbound A90 Dundee to Perth road near Longforgan at about 2pm.

One person was treated for minor injuries by paramedics.

A spokesman for the force said: “It was a two vehicle road traffic collision. One lane is blocked. An ambulance was called.”

Traffic built up on the busy dual carriageway, with Stagecoach bus services affected.

A Traffic Scotland statement said: “All lanes restricted southbound for up to 30 minutes.”

The incident was cleared just before 5pm.
