Two injured in road accident near Auchterarder

Two people have had to be cut free from their vehicles following a road accident near Auchterarder.

The crash took place near to the Darnley Hill junction at around 11.20am and emergency services are still on the scene.

Police Scotland said no-one appeared to have been seriously injured but an elderly woman has been taken by ambulance to Perth Royal Infirmary as “a precaution”.

Scottish Fire and Rescue crews used hydraulic cutting tools to free the woman from her vehicle by removing its roof.
