
Former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher is coming to Perthshire.
His High Flying Birds band will play Scone Palace on May 25/26 as part of the BBC Music’s The Biggest Weekend.

Other artists announced for Scone Palace are Nigel Kennedy who will be performing with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
Nigel Kennedy said: “In Perth, I’ll be performing Bach and Gershwin.”
And music fans in Perth and Kinross will have a great opportunity to get their hands on tickets with 60% of tickets reserved for those living in the Perth and Kinross Council area.
The Biggest Weekend takes place across four venues across four nations in the UK – Scone Palace, Singleton Park, Swansea, War Memorial Park, Coventry and Titanic Slipways in Belfast.
Tickets for The Biggest Weekend will go on sale on February 12, priced at £18 plus £4.50 booking fee.
The news was announced the same morning Lionel Richie confirmed he will perform to thousands at St Johnstone’s McDiarmid Park this summer.
