An elderly man has forfeited his licence after driving the wrong way up one of the busiest roads in Tayside.
The man, said to be in his 80s, was filmed travelling at speed on the M90 Broxden Roundabout to Friarton Bridge road last week.
The incident was captured in dashcam footage by George Carr of Dundee.
Police were made aware and quickly traced the man, who was also given medical treatment.
On Monday a police spokesman said: “Police Scotland can confirm that following an incident on the M90 on Thursday, January 24, a man in his 80s has surrendered his driving licence to police.
“He was given relevant medical treatment, and no further action was taken.”
