In photos: Lantern procession illuminates Perth nativity

Perth’s traditional nativity event saw dozens of families take to the streets after dark on Saturday night.

Led by the Perth and District Pipe Band, the walk began with the unveiling of the manger scene at St Ninian’s Cathedral in North Methven Street.

The celebration, which followed last month’s well-attended Christmas lights switch-on ceremony, featured carol singing and bell ringing.
