Ladies’ Day: Best pictures as thousands enjoy Perth Races

It's Ladies Day! All smiles as these friends pose for a photo.

Thousands of people have flocked to Perth Races to enjoy the return of Ladies’ Day.

The sold-out event was back on the calendar on Thursday after a two-year hiatus.

And revellers soaked up the sunshine as they donned glamorous outfits and fancy hats, in one of the biggest occasions on the Perth social calendar.

Our photographer Steve MacDougall was there to bring you the best pictures from the day.

This glam group are celebrating the 50th birthday of Sheila Morris (pink hat, second from left).

An amazing array of hats and fascinators to be seen as guests arrive.

Guests were treated to a performance from Tenement Jazz Band.
