The Atholl Gathering at Blair Castle

Thousands flocked to Blair Castle over the weekend to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Atholl Gathering.

It was the first time back for the historic event following its three-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The crowds were delighted to see the Gathering, which was first staged in 1845, back in all its splendor.

The two-day event featured a traditional highland games as well as pipe band competitions, marches and the famous tug-o-war competition.

Our photographer, Gareth Jennings, was there to bring you the best pictures from the event.
