For the first time in the club’s history Letham AFC have won through to the final of the North of Tay Amateur Cup final by defeating Hilltown Hotspur in their semi-final.
And now, a clip of a goal by their under-nine team, Letham Blacks 2008, has become an internet sensation.
Originally posted online by Grass Root Goals, the goal was picked up by Soccer AM and has had hundreds of retweets and favourites on Twitter and Facebook and been viewed over 80,000 times.
The goal is a coach’s dream, with six passes the length of the field ending up with a close-range finish.
