Best pictures as thousands of cyclists take to Highland Perthshire for Etape Caledonia return

Thousands of cyclists took to the winding roads of Highland Perthshire to take part in Etape Caledonia.

The cycling event, which returned in 2022 after a 2-year absence due to Covid-19, has been taking to Perthshire since 2007.

Cyclists had the option of choosing the main 85-mile route as well as a 55 and 40-mile option.

The event started and ended in Pitlochry trailing around Loch Rannoch and through Tummel Valley.

Nearly 5,000 people took part.
