The Queen will visit Perthshire next week as part of a tour of Scotland, it has been announced.
The royal engagements follow hot on the heels of those undertaken by the Earl of Wessex, who spent time in Angus and Perthshire this week.
The monarch will officially open Highland Spring’s new £30 million bottling plant at Blackford on July 6 during three days north of the border.
Day one will see the The Queen joined by the Duke of Edinburgh for a lunch with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders at Stirling Castle on July 5.
Later that same day, she will open the Queen Elizabeth II Canal at the Helix in Falkirk.
She will then venture into Perthshire for a series of engagements, where she will be hosted by Perth and Kinross Provost Dennis Melloy.
