Huge crowds have flocked to Perth Racecourse for the annual Summer Carnival event.
One of the busiest days of the racing calendar has seen spectators of all ages enjoy fine racing as well as a host of other entertainments.
Racegoers did, however, enduring lengthy delays after a broken down bus caused congestion on roads leading to the venue.
Many were caught in queues for around half-an-hour before the bus could be moved and traffic eased.
Evening live music from a homegrown UB40 tribute act will bring the event to a close.
